Instead of relying on tired cliches, Grateful Dave is a musician who offers a unique and fresh sound. He stands out from the sea of tribute bands, delivering a performance that is both original and captivating.

Jersey Shore based, Grateful Dave blends smooth laid back vocals with impressive guitar work. Dave literally went from busking on the boardwalk to playing alongside legendary Grammy winning artist Booker T Jones (Booker T & the M.G.’s).

Here’s the thing, Grateful Dave has found a way to channel the elusive vibe of The Grateful Dead, Phish and Pink Floyd with effortlessly airy vocals and spot on guitar work. His mellow vibe and atmosphere are infused with a gentle spirit, warmth and of course tasty classic songs that form the core of Grateful Dave’s shows.

Dave has two albums available on all music platforms “Grateful Dave” (2025) and “Grateful Dave II” (2026).

He hosts seasonal festivals at his local brewery, Toms River Brewing featuring music, artisans and food trucks. The festivals are 420 (spring), Sunshine Day Dream (summer) and Harvest Fest (fall).

“I love supporting local brewers and pubs so those are the kind of venues I like to play.” In 2026 Dave played a wide variety of Jersey Shore venues from Asbury Park to Cape May including some great nights at The Wonder Bar, Stone Pony, Bakes Brewing, Lokal, Icarus, Battle River, Half Moon Point, Coastal Canteen, Cape May Brewing and Toms River Brewing.
